HireXA offers an optional Gmail integration so candidate emails can be sent from your own Google account. Connecting Gmail is always a deliberate choice you make, and you stay in full control of your Google account at every step.
When you connect Gmail, you authorize HireXA through Google's secure OAuth consent screen. HireXA requests Gmail permission for a single purpose: to send the candidate emails you review and approve. Nothing is sent in the background, and your Gmail data is never used for advertising or profiling.

No. HireXA never sends email automatically. Every email is initiated by the recruiter and is sent only after you click Send. There are no background or automated email campaigns.
Yes. You can disconnect your Google account from HireXA at any time in Settings, and you can also revoke access directly from your Google Account security page. After disconnecting, HireXA can no longer send email on your behalf.
No. Gmail access is entirely optional. You can use HireXA's recruitment features without connecting Gmail, or send email through your own SMTP or a different provider.
HireXA uses OAuth-based authorization, encrypted communication and encrypted storage of credentials. Gmail permissions are used solely to provide the sending functionality you request, and your Gmail data is never used for advertising, profiling or any unrelated purpose.
